Ingredients
(Serves 4):
4 chicken breast fillets (or 500g chicken pieces)
200g sliced or shredded mozzarella cheese (or other cheese of your choice, such as Parmesan or Cheddar)
1 can (200g) cream
1 tablespoon mustard (optional, for flavor)
1 teaspoon garlic powder or 2 minced garlic cloves
1 teaspoon paprika (sweet or smoked)
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 cup tomato sauce (optional, for a moister base)
Fresh or dried herbs (oregano, basil, or parsley) to finish

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400°F. Oven: Set the oven to 200°C.
Season the chicken: In a bowl, season the chicken fillets with salt, pepper, garlic powder (or minced garlic), paprika, and olive oil. If desired, add mustard for an extra touch of flavor. Mix well.
Assemble the dish: In a baking dish, spread the tomato sauce on the bottom (if using). Place the seasoned chicken fillets on top. Cover each fillet with a layer of cream, then arrange the mozzarella cheese (or cheese of your choice) on top.
Bake: Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (juices run clear when cut) and the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Finish: Sprinkle fresh or dried herbs on top before serving. Serve hot with sides such as rice, mashed potatoes, or a green salad.
Tip: For a crunchy touch, you can sprinkle breadcrumbs or grated Parmesan cheese on top before baking. If you prefer a lighter dish, substitute plain yogurt for the cream.
