Shortbread cookies - spritz

 Shortbread cookies - spritz

A shortbread cookie reminiscent of childhood, these homemade Spritz certainly are. Natural or covered in chocolate, it is a popular afternoon snack. Is it easy to prepare? Believe me, yes. Even the format is practical to carry out. So make sure you already have all the ingredients at home and make this recipe today. Here is our step-by-step guide:

Ingredients

190 g of softened butter

1 pinch of salt

1 col. vanilla extract tea

1 egg white

75 gr of icing sugar

225 gr of wheat flour

Optional Decoration:

50 gr of milk chocolate

50 gr of dark chocolate

Preparation

Beat the butter until creamy. Add the salt, egg white, vanilla extract and icing sugar and beat again.

Also add the flour and beat until it forms a homogeneous dough. Now place the dough in another container and microwave for 15 seconds (this serves to soften the dough).

Then place it in the piping bag with the nozzle. Form the cookies (zig-zag or other shape) on the parchment/parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

Bake for 12 minutes at 180°C. Take them out and let them cool/cool.

Decoration: Melt the chocolate (each in a bowl) and dip the cookie (only halfway). Let them dry in the pan (room temperature).

It's ready. Enjoy!!
