Plum Jam Recipe
Take advantage of the season and make plum jam at home. This fruit is rich in vitamin C, A, K and B complex, soluble and insoluble fiber, potassium, copper, iron, calcium and magnesium. The recipe is easy and only requires 3 ingredients.
Ingredients
500 gr of plums
400 gr of crystal sugar
juice of 1 lemon
Preparation
Remove the pits from the plums and place them in the pan/pan. Add the sugar and lemon juice. Mix.
Bring to a boil/simmer.
Once it boils, leave it on low heat and cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
After this time, using a spoon, take some of this jelly and pour/pour a drop onto a cold plate. Tilt the plate. If the jelly doesn't move, it's ready. If not, put it back to cook for another 10 minutes.
Pour/pour into the glass jar. Close with the lid and immediately turn the pot over. Leave to cool/cool completely in this position. This allows you to sterilize the glass jar.
Homemade plum jam ready for your snack, or breakfast/breakfast.
