 Oven-Baked Cherry Tomatoes with Mozzarella


Ingredients


5 cherry tomatoes

5 small balls of mozzarella

1 clove of garlic

2 tablespoons of olive oil

12 basil leaves

Salt

2 slices of white bread

Spray of olive oil

Oregano





Preparation


1. Make 5 round holes in 2 slices of white bread.

2. Cut 5 cherry tomatoes in half, remove the seeds and place them inside the holes in the bread.

3. In a mortar and pestle, crush 1 clove of garlic with 12 basil leaves, a few salt cubes and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

4. Fill the tomatoes with 1 teaspoon of this pesto and half a ball of mozzarella cheese.

5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 10 minutes.

6. Serve the slices sprayed with olive oil and sprinkled with oregano.
