Cold Shrimp Pie Recipe
Ingredients
unsliced sliced bread
1 unit
frozen shrimp meat
600 g
salt
1 tbsp
chives
1 tbsp
pickled gherkins
100 g
goat cheese for spreading
200 g
mayonnaise
2 tbsp
wild rocket
150 g
walnut meat
100 g
cherry tomatoes
8 units
Preparation
Step 1
Clean the crust of the bread all around.
Step 2
Cut it lengthwise, being careful not to break it, so as to form a rectangle. Set aside.
Step 3
Cook the thawed shrimp meat in boiling salted water for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from the water and let cool. Set aside.
Step 4
Finely chop the chives and cornichons and set aside.
Step 5
Mix the cheese and mayonnaise well and spread the bread with a little of this mixture.
Step 6
On top, arrange the chives (reserve some) and cornichons, the arugula, the shrimp (reserve some) and the walnut (reserve some).
Step 7
Roll the bread.
Step 8
Spread with the rest of the cheese mixture.
Step 9
Sprinkle with the reserved chives and decorate with the shrimp and reserved walnuts and the tomato in quarters.
Step 10
Serve the pie very fresh, cut into thin slices.
