Stewed octopus with tomatoes Recipe
Ingredients
octopus
1 kg
salt
1 tsp
pepper powder
1 tbsp
chili pepper
1 unit
ripe tomato
4 units
bunch of parsley
1 bunch
olive oil
2 tbsp
lemon
1 unit
mixed bread
6 slices
Preparation
Step 1
In a large pan, cook the octopus with the salt, pepper, sliced and seeded chili pepper, quartered and skinned tomato and a bunch of parsley (reserve some).
Step 2
Cover and cook over low heat for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Step 3
Place the drained octopus in a deep dish.
Step 4
Add the cooking sauce and drizzle with the olive oil and lemon juice.
Step 5
Sprinkle with the reserved chopped parsley.
Step 6
Serve with mixed bread.
