Spare ribs with barbecue sauce
Ingredients
brown sugar
100 g
garlic powder
1 tbsp
onion powder
1 tbsp
salt
1 tbsp
chili pepper
1 tbsp
cumin powder
1 tsp
paprika
1 tsp
spare ribs (piano)
2 kg
ketchup
100 g
mustard
2 tbsp
honey
3 tbsp
corn on the cob
350 g
coriander
1 tbsp
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 130 °C.
Step 2
Place the sugar, garlic, onion, salt, chili pepper, cumin and paprika in a bowl. Mix well and then rub the strips of spare ribs well with the mixture.
Step 3
In another bowl, mix the ketchup with the mustard and honey.
Step 4
Place the spare ribs on a sheet of aluminum foil, brush with the ketchup mixture and wrap. Bake for 2 hours.
Step 5
When there are 20 minutes left, place the corncobs in the oven and let them cook.
Step 6
Remove the corncobs from the oven and set aside. Open the aluminum foil, brush with the remaining ketchup mixture, turn on the grill and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 7
Serve with sliced corn and sprinkle with chopped coriander.
