Onion Tart Recipe
Ingredients
1 package of shortcrust pastry
60 g margarine
1 tablespoon olive oil
5 medium onions
3 egg yolks
200 ml cream
nutmeg to taste
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 package of dried beans
Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200º

Grease a tart tin with a removable bottom with margarine.

Place the pastry in the tin, distributing and pressing into the corners, prick with a fork, cover with baking paper and fill with dried beans to weigh it down. Bake for 10 minutes. At the end, remove the paper and the beans and let them cool.

Melt the butter in a saucepan with the olive oil and add the sliced onion, leaving it to cook with the pan covered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and add the cream mixture, the separated egg yolks and the ground nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper.

Lower the oven temperature to 180º, pour the mixture into the tart dough and bake for a further 15 minutes until golden.
