 Meat pie with sweet potatoes


Ingredients


minced Angus beef

800 g

salt

2 tsp

ground black pepper

1 tsp

minced garlic

1 tsp

minced onion

1 unit (100 g)

peas

1 cup (160 g)

olive oil

2 tbsp

white wine

½ cup

tomato pulp

1 cup (220 g)

brown sugar

1 tbsp

medium sweet potato

2 units (450 g)

semi-skimmed milk

200 ml

fleur de sel

1 tsp

grated cheese

1 cup





Preparation


Step 1

Season the meat with salt and pepper. Place the garlic, onion, peas and olive oil in a frying pan. Sauté everything for about 10 minutes, stirring constantly. Step 2

Add the seasoned meat and fry until golden brown. Then cool with the white wine and when it evaporates, add the tomato pulp and brown sugar. Lower the heat, stir well and cook for another 15 minutes until thickened.

Step 3

Meanwhile, cook the potatoes until tender. Mash them with a mixer and add the milk and fleur de sel.

Step 4

Pour the contents of the frying pan into an oven dish. Cover with the sweet potato puree and sprinkle with cheese.

Step 5

Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for about 20 minutes.
