 Homemade apricot jam


Ingredients

500 g apricots

400 g granulated sugar

1 lemon




Preparation


Step 1 - Wash and cut the apricots in half. Remove the pit. Place the apricots in a tall pan with the sugar and lemon juice.


Step 2 - Leave on medium heat. Mix and bring to a boil.


Step 3 - When it boils, lower the heat and leave for 30 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.


Step 4 - Check the texture in the first 30 minutes. To do this, remove some of the jam with the help of a spoon. Place a small drop on a cold plate. If it is firm, it is ready, if not, leave the jam in the pan for 10 to 15 minutes.


Step 5 - Pour into the jars while still hot. Close them tightly. Now place them with the lids down until they cool. This allows you to sterilize the jars.

Step 6 - It's ready. Store them in the refrigerator.
