Quick Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
1 can of peeled tomatoes
1 dash of olive oil
1 tablespoon of dried oregano leaves
1 handful of fresh basil leaves
1 teaspoon of sugar
pinch of ground pepper
salt to taste
Preparation
In the can itself, with a blunt knife, cut the tomatoes into small pieces. Place the peeled tomatoes and the remaining ingredients in a saucepan. Let it boil over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
If necessary, use a wooden spoon to crush the larger pieces of tomato against the saucepan, or use a potato masher to mash. Remove and use.
