Coconut Christmas Trees Recipe
Ingredients
100g condensed milk
150g powdered sugar
a few drops of green food coloring (optional)
2 tablespoons sugar for decoration
70g desiccated coconut
Preparation
Mix the condensed milk, powdered sugar and green food coloring, if using. Add 70g desiccated coconut. The mixture will be very stiff.
Shape the mixture into cone shapes.
Place the desiccated coconut on a plate and wrap each tree in the coconut.
Decorate the trees with the sugar decorations.
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until firm and ready. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container and use within 3 weeks.
Tip: If you are short on time, place the trees in the freezer instead of the refrigerator for 30 minutes, until ready.
