Homemade Bread Recipe
Ingredients
11 g of powdered baker's yeast
18 g of coarse salt
580 ml of warm water
780 g of wheat flour
Preparation
Add all the ingredients to a large bowl and mix everything until smooth with a wooden spoon.
Cover the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for 2 hours before making the bread, or you can leave it overnight if you prefer.
When you want to make bread, cut half of the dough and place it on a floured surface, sprinkle with a little flour and shape the loaf (without kneading) and let it rest on a sheet of baking paper for about 1 hour until it reaches room temperature.
Preheat the oven with a metal tray to 230C and place a heat-resistant container at the bottom of the oven with water (at least 1 cup).
Place the bread in the oven on the tray using the baking paper and bake for 25-35 minutes.
Note: the remaining dough should be kept covered in the refrigerator for a maximum of 7 days.
