Delicious Fish Stew Recipe

Ingredients

6 fillets of assorted fresh fish (ling, grouper, grouper, etc.)

100 g green pepper

100 g red pepper

200 g onion

3 cloves of garlic

200 g fresh tomato

50 g olive oil

1 bay leaf

100 g chopped tomatoes (canned)

50 g white wine (approx. 50 ml)

410 g water

Salt to taste

650 g potatoes for boiling (weight of peeled potatoes)

Chopped coriander to taste (optional)

Preparation

1.

Season the fish with salt. If the fillets are thick, cut them in half. Cut the green and red peppers into strips and the onion into slices. Arrange the fish fillets, half of the peppers (green and red) and 80 g of sliced onion in the steam tray. Set aside.

2.

Place the garlic in the bowl and set the Crush function. Use the spatula to scrape down the pieces that have accumulated on the sides of the bowl.

3.

Add the remaining onion and the other half of the peppers, cut into strips, the tomatoes cut into thick slices, the olive oil and the bay leaf. Assemble the steam tray with the fish and set the Steam function for 5 minutes, with Reverse Rotation at speed 1.

4.

Remove the steam tray and add the chopped tomatoes, white wine, water and salt to taste to the bowl. Replace the steam tray and set the Steam function for 15 minutes, with Reverse Rotation, at speed 1.

5.

Remove the steam tray again and insert the blender accessory over the blade. Add the potatoes cut into thick slices to the bowl (to prevent them from falling apart during cooking) and replace the tray. Set the Steam function for 15 minutes, with reverse rotation at speed 1.

6.

Check that the fish and potatoes are cooked and, if necessary, set the steam for a few more minutes at the same speed and temperature.

7.

Place the steamed fish and pepper in a bowl. Add the potatoes and pour the desired amount of stew sauce over the top (without the bay leaf). Sprinkle with chopped coriander and serve immediately.
