Stuffed Turkey Steak Recipe 🦃🦃
Ingredients
4 turkey breast steaks
100g fresh spinach
50g grated mozzarella cheese
1 grated carrot
1 small chopped onion
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Toothpicks to close the steaks
Preparation
Season the turkey steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
In a frying pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil and sauté the onion until transparent. Add the spinach and carrot and cook until the spinach wilts. Set aside and let cool slightly.
Place a portion of the sautéed spinach and carrot on each steak and add the grated cheese on top. Carefully roll the steak and secure with toothpicks to hold the stuffing.
In a large frying pan, heat the remaining olive oil and brown the turkey steaks on all sides until golden brown. If necessary, cover the pan and cook over low heat for a few minutes to ensure that the steaks are cooked through.
Carefully remove the toothpicks and serve the sliced steak, garnished with fresh herbs and a touch of your favorite sauce.
