Stuffed Pork Roll Recipe 🐖🐷

Open the pork loin like a blanket, carefully cutting it lengthwise, but without separating the parts. Season with crushed garlic, salt, black pepper, lemon juice and a touch of olive oil. Let it marinate for about 2 hours in the refrigerator to absorb the flavors.

In the meantime, prepare the filling. Use a mixture of fried and chopped bacon, mozzarella cheese, caramelized onion and a handful of fresh herbs, such as parsley and chives. The combination of bacon and melted cheese will give an irresistible creamy and salty touch.

Spread the filling evenly over the opened loin and roll it up tightly. Tie the stuffed loin with cooking twine, ensuring that the filling does not escape during cooking.

Place the loin in the oven preheated to 200°C, covered with aluminum foil for the first 30 minutes. After that, remove the paper to brown and crisp the outside. Bake for approximately 1h30, basting with its own juices from time to time to maintain the juiciness.

In the end, you will have a tender pork loin on the inside, with a filling that oozes out and melts when you cut it, and a golden and crispy crust on the outside. Serve with rustic roasted potatoes and a herb sauce or chimichurri to accompany.

Each piece will bring a combination of flavors, from the lemon-seasoned meat, to the softness of the cheese and the smoky flavor of the bacon, creating a delicious main course worthy of a special occasion.
