Grilled Tuna Skewers Recipe 😊🍷
Ingredients:
600g fresh tuna (preferably loin)
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 red onion
1 zucchini
Extra-virgin olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
2 cloves of minced garlic
Fresh rosemary (or thyme, to taste)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Wooden or metal skewers
Preparation:
Prepare the Tuna: Cut the tuna loin into cubes of about 3 cm. Season them with salt, pepper, garlic, lemon juice and a generous drizzle of olive oil. Let marinate for 15 to 20 minutes.
Prepare the Vegetables: Cut the peppers, onion and zucchini into large pieces, so that they are similar in size to the tuna cubes. Season with a little olive oil, salt and pepper.
Assemble the Skewers: Alternately thread a cube of tuna, a piece of bell pepper, another piece of onion, and a piece of zucchini onto the skewers. Repeat until all skewers are complete.
On the Grill: Heat the grill until the coals are glowing, but not overly hot. Place the skewers on the grill and turn them every 2-3 minutes, until the tuna is golden brown on the outside, but still juicy and slightly pink in the center. The total grilling time is about 8 to 10 minutes.
Finishing: When the skewers are ready, drizzle with a little more olive oil and sprinkle fresh rosemary leaves on top for a special aroma.
Tip: Serve with fluffy white rice or a crunchy green salad. 😊
