Corn Pudding ππ½π½
Ingredients
450ml of water
250 g of sugar
50 ml of Favaios wine
2 cinnamon sticks
1 orange peel
6 tablespoons of corn meal
5 egg yolks
Preparation
1. In a pan, boil 450ml of water with 250g of sugar, 50ml of Favaios wine, 2 cinnamon sticks and the peel of ½ orange.
2. Remove the orange peel and, little by little, add 6 tablespoons of corn meal, stirring constantly, and let it cook.
3. Remove the cinnamon stick and turn off the heat.
4. Temper 5 egg yolks with the mixture and return them to the pan, stirring constantly.
5. Pour the mixture into a greased pan.
6. Place in the oven, preheated to 170ΒΊC, for 20 minutes. Let it cool before unmolding.
