Chocolate and Strawberry semi cold π°π§
Ingredients
120 g powdered sugar
120 g of flour
1 pinch of salt
1 orange
500 g of strawberries
4 eggs
1 egg white
150 ml of cream
3 sheets of gelatin
Preparation
Preheat the oven with the thermostat at position 6 (180ΒΊ C).
For the cake: beat 4 whole eggs and the sugar with an electric mixer for at least 5 minutes, the mixture should become foamy. Add the flour passed through a sieve, the orange zest, the salt and stir gently.
Pour the mixture into a springform round mold of about 20 cm in diameter, previously greased and sprinkled with flour and bake for approximately 25 minutes. Unmold, cut in half and place the bottom part back in the mold lined with cling film.
Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie, let it cool slightly and add the whipped cream to obtain a cream. Spread over the base of the cake and cover with the other part. Place in the refrigerator for approximately 30 minutes.
Mix the strawberries and add the melted gelatin, previously rinsed in cold water. Heat for a few minutes to mix well. Cover the cake with this strawberry gelatin and let it cool for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
