 Tuna Woodpecker


Ingredients:

500 g of tuna steaks preferably tall
salt
5 tablespoons of oil
4 rolled garlic cloves
2 bay leaves
Chillies to taste
2 heaped teaspoons of mustard with grain
100 ml of beer
2 tablespoons of butter
chopped parsley leaves
Black olives
chopped pickles
1 lemon cut into 4 segments

Preparation:

1. Season the tuna steaks, on both sides with salt.

2. In a large skillet, heat the oil, garlic, bay leaf and chillies.
Stir and let it heat up well.

3. When the oil is very hot and the garlic does not brown, place the steaks in the pan.
Let it fry for 15 to 20 seconds, just for the tuna to take on color.
Turn and let it cook for another 15 seconds.
Immediately remove the tuna and set aside.

4. Reduce the heat and in the skillet, add the mustard and stir very well.
Gradually and while stirring, add the beer.
Simmer for 30 seconds.

5. Add the butter, stir and as soon as it melts, turn off the heat.
Drizzle the sauce with ¼ of the lemon.
Add the parsley and stir.

6. Cut the tuna steaks into thin slices and place on a serving platter.

7. Drizzle the steaks with the sauce and decorate to taste with the pickles, olives and lemon wedges.
